A customer discussing options in the Eden Memorials office

First contact — it starts with a conversation

Our small, friendly team is highly experienced in offering advice, support and guidance to help you choose the most fitting tribute. You are welcome to call us for an initial conversation, to request our brochures, or to arrange an appointment either at our showroom or in the convenience of your own home. We encourage families to visit us more than once and to take time discussing options with our staff — these conversations can provide valuable insight into the full range of memorial choices available.

Memorial design — from initial ideas to timeless tributes

We have many standard memorials to view in the showroom, in our brochures, or on our website and social media pages. All memorials can be supplied in any size or colour with personalised modifications, or supplied with kerb surrounds. In addition, a free appointment can be booked with our specialised memorial mason to work with your ideas, creating a unique and individual memorial to commemorate a loved one in a truly special way.

A craftsman carving and hand-finishing a memorial in the workshop

Carving & crafting

Once the selected memorial stone has been carefully quarried and delivered from our trusted stone supplier, our skilled craftsmen begin the process of personalising your memorial. Your chosen inscription, design elements and finishing details are expertly applied using a combination of advanced computer-guided plotting technology, precision sandblasting equipment, and traditional hand-finishing techniques. This blend of modern craftsmanship and artisan skill ensures a high-quality finish with your chosen unique features.

A memorial being fitted on site to BRAMM fixing standards

Placement & fitting

Once checks have been carried out to ensure the ground has settled sufficiently following the burial, we will arrange a fitting date with the relevant council, parish or cemetery authority. Our office team will then contact you to discuss the planned work and answer any questions you may have. The installation process can take anywhere from a single day to several weeks, depending on the size of the memorial and any foundation work required. Our experienced and qualified memorial fixers take great care throughout, ensuring every memorial is installed to the highest standard and that the grave area is treated with the utmost respect.

All installation and re-fixing work is carried out in line with current cemetery regulations and the recognised fixing standards for memorial installation, giving you confidence that your memorial is fitted safely, securely and professionally.

As members of BRAMM (British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons), all our fixers are qualified to NVQ level. Memorials are fitted to the standards set out in the industry code of working practice using stainless steel dowels and accredited ground anchors. Our work is routinely inspected after fitting, and we give a 10-year guarantee on all workmanship.
