Where a further burial is to take place, it may be necessary to remove and safely store the existing memorial until the grave has settled sufficiently for it to be reinstalled. We work closely with local funeral directors, councils and churchyards to coordinate memorial removals and reinstatements in accordance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
If you believe a memorial may need to be removed for an upcoming burial, your funeral director will be able to advise you in the first instance. Alternatively, we would be happy to liaise directly with your funeral director on your behalf to ensure the process is managed smoothly and respectfully.
